…gained after a week of gorging myself on pie, stuffing and two cakes, I guess it could have been worse.

I’m now going to enter my 28th year of life for the second time around.

A Month of Gratitude: Day 27

I know, it's December 1st. The month of gratitude should've ended yesterday, but since I missed a few days, I thought I'd extend this little project one extra day.

Jon: Getting to use manly tools at least twice a year.

Ness: God's grace.

Audrie: This rotten dog...

Finn: Chasing the puppy.

Well, this concludes our month of gratitude. There is an overabundance of things to be thankful for in my life. If I continued this project for the rest of my days, I would never run out of things to be grateful for. Granted, I might start to repeat myself after a few years, or maybe a few weeks given my lack of memory these past couple of weeks, but nevertheless, I have so many blessings in my life, so, so much to be thankful for.

Jon: Queso

Ness: Being in need of nothing.

Audrie: Fall color.

Ness: Another year. Happy birthday to me! I've already been served breakfast in bed while being serenaded by my children. They know how to make a person feel special.

Audrie: Fun times here at MiMi's.

A Month of Gratitude: Day 24

I'm thankful for....

Jon: Hot showers. ** Jonathan gave me a short list of things he's thankful for, and I'm just trying to make it go further by repeating things. Just kidding. I've been really tired lately and can't seem to speak in complete sentences, much less keep up with what I've written so far. It was actually supposed to be Friday night cheat meals.**

Ness: My brother (who's mad at me right now for posting the picture of him playing with the dog and her rope. So I'm trying to make it up to him by posting some nice pictures from a photo shoot I made him do to satisfy the inner photographer in me).

I made my cousin go, too (I'll post some of her shots later), and in a moment of goofiness, we got one of my my favorite shots...

Thank you, Harvey, for inviting us into your barbershop and letting us take pictures. It was a delight to see the history in your shop.

I'm thankful for...

Jon: Morning Stretches.

Ness: Audrie's creativity. This is her latest creation, a closet for her stuffed animal Lizzy complete with hangers and a tissue box. Lizzy's going to be a clothing designer.

Audrie: Funny times when the puppies play.

Finn: Being a puppy.

Jon: Hot showers.

Jon: He's going to have some major catching up to do. :)

Ness: Time spent with family (which is the reason I'm behind on posts again). We just spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family this past weekend, and we will be heading out of town this weekend to spend time with Jonathan's family, so I'm sure I'll get behind again. Maybe I should jump ahead a bit in preparation. One thing that's guaranteed when we get together with family, a lot of laughter and a lot of stupid pictures. I know, I know, that's two things. And I'm not going to post any stupid pictures today because I still have some family in town that can beat me up for doing so. I'll post a few others, though.

Ness: Butterflies. They're such beautiful creatures, and they start off life as caterpillars...amazing. Plus, my name means butterfly. :)

A Month of Gratitude: Day 17

Oh my! I have a lot of catching up to do. I have been really busy lately, and my mind's been functioning on half power due to lack of sleep, so remembering my blog project before I crawl in bed has been a little bit difficult. So, once again, I'm going to have to do multiple posts, sans Jonathan, for now. He's working late, and probably won't have any brain power left once he's home. Here goes...I'm thankful for....

Jon:

Ness: My husband who works hard to provide for our family, allowing me to stay home with the kids and pursue my passion.

Audrie: My room.

Finn: Candy, I'm thankful for candy.
