In pictures…what few I have:

I’d say the weekend was pretty successful. I was only there on Sunday evening, but from what I saw, Etsy Austin got a lot of exposure. I got to meet some of the Etsy staff who were all super nice, and I met a lot of other interesting folks along the way. On top of that, CNN.com featured an article on Etsy and Etsy Austin, and my paintings were amongst the items featured in the picture! Click on the picture to see the full article.

Etsy Front Page

I made my very first Etsy treasury last Thursday of items made by talented members of Etsy Austin. I found out that the page I created made it to the front page of Etsy on Saturday!

New Paintings

Clever title, huh? Well, as promised, here’s some of my newest additions to my collection of paintings. As I mentioned yesterday, I will be selling these paintings at Blues on the Green, a summer concert series here in Austin, TX. I will be joining a group of other talented crafters that are part of the Etsy Austin team [if you’re in the area…come out and see us!] Any paintings I don’t sell will join the other paintings in my shop. If you read yesterday’s post, I probably sound like a broken record, so I’ll shut up now and just get to the pictures.

AND, to repeat myself again [because I know you want to hear it], I have some new prints of my illustrations. They’ll be making their way to the shop, as well!

On the Easel

This little whimsical house finally made its way into my shop.

I’ve held off listing it because I liked the way it looked in the kid’s bathroom {see pic below}, but it was never my intention to keep it. So, it’s listed, waiting to find a new home that isn’t mine. {sniff, sniff}

I’ve also been trying to find the time to work on paintings for the Blues on the Green summer concert series. The Etsy Austin team has snagged a booth for the entire event, and we have a variety of artisans out there each concert to sale their wares and promote their shops. I’ll be out there myself on July 29th, hopefully with a lot more stuff than you see in this pile. {and hopefully the paintings will be finished!}
