Evening on the farm...

A farmer's work is never done. Every evening, before the sun goes down, the farmer must make the rounds to inspect the farm. He starts with a long walk past the fields towards the barn. The farmer brings a few good farm hands to help carry the load.

Then he sets off to start his inspection.

First, the farmer examines the soil.

Then, he runs around the barn, making sure the equipment is put away.

He follows more seasoned footsteps, watching and learning...

Until he knows every step.

Then he takes the lead, inspecting the fields.

At the end of the day, the farmer is tired.
 A farmer's work is hard,
but he has a few good farm hands to help carry the load.

As the sun sets, all is quiet on the farm.

Good night, little farmer.

Shirts vs. Fur

With the Super Bowl coming up, I thought it would be fitting to share pics of our football game we played over Christmas. It wasn't a typical football game, as we were playing against a pack of dogs who were very fast and very slobbery. For every pass, the receiver was met with the whole pack, trying to get their teeth on the ball.

At first, it seemed like the dogs were no match for their bipedal opponents. The ability to throw and catch, and special tactics like sitting on the ball seemed to put the shirts at an advantage.

But as soon as one of the dogs took hold of the ball, their speed and agility dominated the field.

And if we ever got the ball back, well, it was met with mixed emotions and a slobber-coated football.

All in all, it was a good game, and though we played our hearts out, I think the furs won this one.
