Tic Tacs, anyone?

My kids have been quite busy lately keeping up with the store. What store you may ask? Well, their convenience store, of course. It’s one of the many uses they’ve found for the wood scraps that their great-grandpa saves for them. Their store is stocked with candy, sugar, bread, meat and pastries, with new items being added each day. They’ve set up shop in a little alcove next to the back porch stairs… a great location since most of the traffic coming and going from the house passes by this spot [and feel obligated to make a purchase].

We thought we were spoiled having a convenience store right down the street, but I have to say, stepping out on the back porch to support my candy habit definitely takes the “convenience” part of the store to a new level.
