Rocket Dog

Well actually, a rocket AND a dog.

 These are a couple of recent paintings that I sent to Cherry Tree Creative, my favorite store for unique, handmade, and vintage finds. I am so excited to get to sell my paintings at this store. It is a treasure trove of things that are infused with imagination, saturated with character, and filled with history. If you're ever in Taylor, Texas, you should pop in for a spell. It's worth a special trip.

Puppy Finds a Friend

The puppy sat alone, longing for someone to call a friend.

She started searching for a companion. She looked near and far, high and low, until...

she spotted something in the distance.

Could this be her friend?

She decided to approach with caution.

Slowly she inched her way forward, watching and sniffing.

He looked sticky.

He smelled like cookies.

 He seemed...

perfect.

Gus and Puppy became fast friends.

They did everything together.

They played together.

 They ate together.

They even slept together.

They were the best of friends...

for that one special day.

And then puppy went back home.
